POSITION TITLE: Assistant Manager
REPORTS TO: Dispensary Manager

SUMMARY:
Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Manager with overseeing general store operations, including but not limited to; adhering to local compliance regulations, company standards of conduct, inventory management, and employee management. In the event that the Dispensary Manager is unable to fulfill their duties the Assistant Manager will be required to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities. Assistant Manager will have full access to location including inventory, vault, and all limited access areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily opening and closing procedures.
- Daily cash management procedures including deposits.
- Assist with coaching employees to create a customer-centric environment resulting in memorable and positive customer experience.
- Hiring and training of store employees in compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Assist with performance tracking and management of all employees in partnership with Human Resources, coaching employees and administering discipline.
- Daily employee management and direction including creating break schedules, assist with staff scheduling.
- Address employee grievances.
- Verify ID and/or appropriate documents to verify right to shop.
- Maintain knowledge of strains and products throughout the dispensary.
- Maintain knowledge of state and local compliance including state seed-to-sale tracking system.
- Exercise independent judgment on day to day matters that may arise.
- Accept and process products in both POS systems and state seed-to-sale tracking system. Create transfers as needed.
- Assist with auditing of all inventory levels for accuracy including daily and weekly reconciliations. Investigate and report any and all discrepancies or quality issues to Dispensary Manager.
- Ensure accuracy of medicated displays.
- Ensure store is “business-ready” at all times.
- Engage the sales floor in daily promotions and sales goals.
- Ensure daily audits/reconciliations are complete.
- Regular communication with Dispensary Manager about anything that goes on in the store and daily manager communication emails.
- Assist with other store tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Desire to learn about products in order to assist customers.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, POS software, and cash management.
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality.
- Ability to creatively cultivate long- term customer relationships.
- Ability to handle issues that arise and resolve in a professional manner.
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
- Ability to maintain a compliant and accurate inventory.
- Working knowledge of Medical and/or Retail Marijuana.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
- 1 year of experience management experience preferred.
- Previous inventory management experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain an Agent ID through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
- Must have reliable transportation.
POSITION TITLE: Cannabis Advisor

SUMMARY:
The Cannabis Advisors are responsible for helping guests and patients find the right products that fit their needs, while at the same time safeguarding company assets. This is a very customer-oriented position that requires daily interaction with a diverse group of people, including checking in the patient, answering the phone and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to both company policy and state law.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify ID and/or appropriate documents to verify right to shop.
- Daily opening and closing duties.
- Check in and out visitors properly & maintain visitor badges.
- Answer and transfer phone calls accordingly following professional phone etiquette.
- Maintain knowledge of strains and products throughout the dispensary.
- Maintain basic knowledge of state and local compliance including state seed-to-sale tracking system.
- Drive sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and well merchandised store environment. Includes maintaining cleanliness of front and back of house.
- Model best-in-class service experience that consistently exceeds customer expectations and creates loyalty to our retail experience.
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
- Accountable for accurately interfacing with the Point Of Sale (POS) system.

POSITION TITLE: Shift Lead
SUPERVISOR: Store Manager

SUMMARY:
Shift Lead is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with daily store operational duties, including but not limited to; scheduling and ensuring coverage for employee breaks and lunches, follow up on daily tasks for the store including daily checklists and routines, interacting with customers in a Root 66 approved manner as well as maintaining professional relationships with staff, vendors and customers. In the event that the Store Manager is unable to fulfill their duties the Shift Lead will be required to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities. Shift Lead will have full access to location including inventory, vault, and all limited access areas.
